ABOUT OUR BUNGALOW

Englewood is a laid back community on the Southwest Coast of Florida. The bungalow is located in the Edgewater Club Inc., a 55+ retirement community. Club amenities include a pool, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard and bocce ball. Weekly music and sing-alongs are hosted on the pool deck, as well as monthly dinners and bi-monthly Sunday breakfast plus many more social events.

 

This fully furnished home features an open concept layout, a master suite with queen size bed and private bath, second bedroom with queen size bed, additional full bath, eat-in fully stocked kitchen, washer, dryer. No need to bring anything but your clothes! This one-floor home is perfect for a sunny getaway within walking distance to Tiffany Square which provides many shopping and dining options.

THINGS TO DO IN ENGLEWOOD

Englewood is home to Englewood Beach on Manasota Key. It is also the home of the Englewood Seafood & Music Festival as well as events celebrating culture, food, history, sporting events, fine dining, the arts, fishing and golf. It offers direct boating access to the Gulf of Mexico and is among the best sport fishing in Florida.

GET OUTDOORS

The area boasts beautiful beaches like Englewood Beach at Chadwick Park and Blind Pass Beach

where you can enjoy water sports or simply sun yourself on the beach.

If you are looking to get close to nature you must visit the Lemon Bay Aquatic Preserve that is teaming with wildlife, including water birds, dolphins and manatees.Or visit one of our many parks where you can hike, bike or paddle enjoying the beautiful views.

Englewood is on the Southwest Coast of Florida  30 miles south of Sarasota and 26 miles west of Punta Gordais.

Sarasota offers a combination of city life and access to nature and beautiful islands.

While in Sarasota make sure you stop by the John & Mabel Ringling Museum of Art, explore the gardens and the circus museum, and tour the Ringlings’ 36,000 square foot seaside mansion Ca’ d’Zan.
